 There are a variety of dog sledding options for your enjoyment. Please peruse this dog mushing section for information about all our dog sledding adventures.
Each trip is based on a minimum of two guests per departure. Times will be scheduled at the main lodge after a brief intro
to dog team experiences by our musher on your night of arrival.
Departure times are flexible pending the number of bookings and weather.
Your musher will orient you to the key components of dogsled-
ding, the do痴 and don稚s, how to dress properly and some hints for
making your experience a great one.

Just A Taste
1.5 hours $115 pp and 2.5 hours $155 pp
This is a great introduction to dogsledding! Participants will be given a tour through the dog yard where they will meet our friendly Huskies and learn a little about the history of dog sledding. After a brief orientation you池e welcome to help harness the dogs and hitch up the team. If taking photos is your passion feel free to click away as our staff gets the dogs ready.

In no time we値l be out on the trail which follows the shores of our beautiful lake.
There will be plenty of opportunities for photos and you are invited to try your hand at
driving the sled under the careful direction of our staff. Before you know it, we値l be back
in the dog yard and you値l have a final opportunity to visit with | |
| your canine companions before heading off on your next lodge adventure. This is an approximately 90 minute program.

3.5 hours half day tour $220 pp
Our half day dog sledding program is an
adventure not to be missed. Participants are provided with a brief orientation to dogsledding and driving a dog team and
of course you値l get to meet our enthusiastic dogs. Then it痴 time to harness and hitch |

up your
team and hit the trail. Guests are
paired up two per sled so this is plenty of opportunity to be both driver and passenger.
Your guide, out front on the lead sled, will take you across frozen lakes and through pristine spruce forests. Our trail options
are numerous
and you might find yourself heading out to Long |

| Lake to see the now abandoned Cadeaux family cabin or along the trail to Thor Lake
to see an old mining site. Photo opportunities are endless. We値l take a short break to rest the dogs and have hot drinks before
heading back to the lodge. Along the way you might catch a glimpse of the tracks of lynx, wolf, otter or even moose. Your guide will be on the lookout for these signs and will point them out to you.
At the end of your journey you値l have the chance to visit with your team and grab those last minute pictures. Then head up to the lodge for a snack, a hot drink or maybe even some time in the hot tub! This is an approximately 3 ｽ program.

Day trip dogsledding 7 hours $350 per person
Lunch will be on the trail and the food will be
good and plentiful.
Hot drinks will keep you warm right down to your toes.

During the lunch break the dogs will also enjoy a snack of frozen chicken or fish.
After lunch we begin our journey back to the lodge. You are invited to spend some time with the dogs before heading back up
to the lodge
for a great meal and lots of story-

Overnight Mushing Tour 24 hours $475 pp
An overnight
dog sledding trip is an ideal journey for our guests who are looking to experience the best of
everything that a stay at the lodge has to offer. After a brief orientation to the
dogs and dog sledding, you値l hit the trail, led by an experienced guide, and travel across frozen
lakes and through scenic spruce forests to our sheltered campsite and heated wall tent. |
| We値l be heading along the Thor Lake trail towards the east Arm of Great
Slave Lake. We値l travel across
pristine lakes and through silent spruce forests. There will be many animal tracks other than those of
our canine companions, including lynx, otter, beaver and moose.

| camp that will provide a breathtaking panoramic view of the east arm of the big lake, Great Slave.
Our camp is not too far and gives a similar view of the beautiful lake. |

These multi-day trips are
an exciting hands-on Northern experience that begins and ends at the lodge. Participants are paired up and
assigned their own team of friendly and eager Huskies. After an orientation and warm-up dog sledding trip,
you値l begin a three-day, two-night journey of a lifetime led by an experienced guide.

Each day the dogs will take you across frozen lakes and through breathtaking forests. Our trail options are varied and depending on weather we may explore the east arm of Great Slave Lake or visit long abandoned family cabins or mining camps. Your guide will outline the trail before your first dog mushing day.
