Trip Highlights
Day 1 to 2:
Meet in Montreal, Quebec, or Burlington, Vermont Van shuttle to your first night’s stay Welcome reception at a small vineyard Dine in a fine French restaurant. Wake up to a country-styled breakfast Ride rolling terrain through the famous Routes Des Vins Tour of a Loyalist museum Pedal under covered bridges to a sun-baked vineyard. Picnic lunch and wine tour Dinner at a fine Italian restaurant Overnight at a charming Auberge.
Day 3 to 4:
Gourmet secrets with Pierre the chef over breakfast Ride the hilly terrain to a private pond Mid-morning swim and café-au-laits Ride to a trendy village and check out antiques and clothing shops Cycle under a canopy of maple trees to your next night’s stay Spend the rest of the afternoon at a rustic spa Walk the wooded trail back to the B&B. Guilt-free, gourmet dining at day’s end. Uninterrupted riding to a small French bakery Pedal into the heart of the Potton Valley Sample gourmet cheese at a remote monastery followed by a picnic lunch in the Abbey’s apple orchards Board a pontoon boat for an afternoon cruise to a bustling village Stay at a tranquil lakefront Auberge for your last two nights.
Day 5 to 6:
Design your perfect day. Join your guide for a peaceful ride along bike trails to a world- renowned arts center or sleep in and spend the rest of the day strolling through the village or reading a good book on the beach. Enjoy an insider’s tour of a local Lavender farm. Whatever it is, active or not, choose what is right for you! Our last day together will be spent discovering the Eastern Townships Trails by foot. Walk to a scenic vista and reflect back on your week. From the trail head, your guides will transfer you back to Montreal or Burlington, but not before one last stop at a local café.
