TRIP DETAILS

Trip Highlights
Day 1:
Arrive in staging area.
Day 2:
Charter flight to the Moose Ponds.
Day 3 to 5:
The next 3 days are spent on 60 km of non-stop whitewater. You will descend the Rock Gardens and have an optional hike up Mount Wilson.
Day 6 to 10:
The next 5 days you will do some down river paddling with an optional 3 day hike to Glacier Lake and Cirque of the Unclimbables.
Day 11 to 19:
Next nine days explore Rabbit Kettle Lake, Virginia Falls and the famous features for which the lower Nahanni is so well known.
Day 20:
Leave the Nahanni River and paddle down the Liard River to Blackstone Landing. Hot showers and a celebration meal awaits.
Day 21:
After breakfast we will return to the staging area by van for departure.
