Dogsledding
Looking for something different in your winter adventure trip to Canada? How about dogsledding. Dogsledding truly is a Canadian activity in every way. You will thrill while dog sledding on this traditional mode of transportation as you lead your own dog team along trails through pristine valleys and over mountain ridges. The helpful dogsledding guides will provide basic instruction in handling and commanding a dog team. Look for our dogsledding adventures in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Ontario, Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Dogsledding trips will vary with the location, but can be several days or longer. Camp out under the Northern Lights in warm cabins or heated tents along the trail. Bring the children along for a unique family adventure and stay in heated cabins. Shorter day trips are also available for those who would just like to try dogsledding for the first time. Some of our adventure lodges also offer dogsledding trips. The dogsledding season runs from December to April.
