Learn the basics of sea kayaking on this introductory trip. You will be taught the fundamentals of coastal kayaking in the scenic and protected waters of the Rossport Islands archipelago on Lake Superior. This area is the perfect location for the first time kayaker who would like to experience some fantastic scenery and have access to calm and safe waters. Your guides will teach you all the basics, provide all the equipment and supply delicious meals during this multi-day adventure.
Skill, safety and theory of sea kayaking will be emphasized, combined with a chance to camp out in the great outdoors.
Season: July to August
Requirements: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad.
Suggested Clothing: Clothing to suit a variety of summer weather conditions. Rain gear, warm jacket, long pants, shorts, hat, sneakers, hiking boots.

Transportation: Trips originate and end in Rossport, Ontario. Rossport is located about 2 hours northeast of Thunder Bay on Highway #17. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Accommodations in tent campsites along the route.
Meal Information: A delicious and satisfying menu is created from a combination of fresh, dehydrated and natural wholesome foods.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced and professional paddlers and safety is always the first priority.
