Makokibatan Lake is over 18 miles long, and famous for its large and plentiful walleye. The cold water and steady currents of the mighty Albany River also make for some monster Northern Pike. | Equipment Provided: 14 & 16 foot aluminum boats equpped with a 15 hp outboard per two anglers, landing net, fuel. Fish cleaning, packing and freezing facilities available. |
| Transportation: Trips originate and end in Nakina or Thunder Bay, Ontario. Price includes return air transfer from Nakina or Thunder Bay to the cottages. Nakina is located about 200 miles northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario and is accessible by both road and air. Driving distance from Detroit is 857 miles, and from Toronto is 783 miles. Packages from Thunder Bay include a limo service to and from Nakina as well as accommodations in Nakina the evening prior to flying to the lodge. |
| Accommodations: Deluxe lodging in fully furnished 3 bedroom log cabins with a private 3-piece baths. The main lodge provides a dining room, fireplace, tackle shop, gift shop and lounge. |
| Meal Information: All meals are included and the dining room serves delicious home-style cooking. Shore lunches are expertly prepared daily by your guide and always include the catch of the day. |
