The 3 day weekend getaway canoe trip is the perfect escape. You will get the chance to either beef up your whitewater paddling skills or, if you are a beginner learn how to whitewater canoe. In addition you get to experience one of the most beautiful wilderness rivers in Central Canada, the Dumoine. There are a number of fun enjoyable rapids on the section of the river we run which are not only great fun to paddle, but are also wonderful for learning and practicing canoeing techniques. The Dumoine is not only an ideal river for improving your whitewater skills, it is also considered one of the prettiest rivers of the Ottawa Valley. This trip on the lower river is geared for people new to whitewater or those at an intermediate level who wish to improve their skills. We have a relaxed pace so will spend time teaching in the river's Class I, and II rapids.
