Snowmobiling tours in northern Ontario

Experience the fantastic snowmobile trails of northern Ontario from the comfort of a 4-star lodge on one of these snowmobiling tours. This is the ultimate snowmobiling vacation. You will have access to hundreds of kilometers of groomed snowmobile trails. Spend your entire trip exploring the trails or choose another winter activity. Go cross-country skiing on nearby trails, take a horse drawn sleigh ride and enjoy some of our breathtaking scenery, or try your hand at ice fishing on one of the hundreds of lakes in this area. Regardless of what you do, at the end of the day you can come back to the lodge and relax beside a cozy fireplace, enjoy the great food offered in our licensed dining room and the serenity and beauty of the Ontario, Canada wilderness.

Snowmobiling tours in northern Ontario

These packages offer the snowmobile enthusiast access to the finest trails in North America and their is a tour to suit everyones needs. There are a variety of trails to choose from, ranging from a 70 km trip to Elk Lake to a 400 km journey to North Bay. Spend all day on the trail or go for a half day and relax at the lodge. Trails are suitable for all skill levels.

Snowmobiling tours in northern Ontario

Season: January to March
Requirements: Snowmobiles, equipment and fuel if not renting. If bringing your own sled, snowmobile must be registered and insured and participants must purchase a trail permit.
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Personal ski/snowmobile suit, fleece underclothes, long underwear, wool socks, gloves or mitts, toque, snow boots, sneakers.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Equipment Provided: Snowmobile rescue unit, trail map, parking, maid service.
Transportation: Trips originate and end at the lodge near Gowganda, Ontario. From North Bay, continue north on Highway #11 to New Liskeard. Turn west on highway 65 to highway 560. Continue on Highway 560 west to the lodge. Pick up service available from North Bay.
Accommodations: All packages include accommodations and maid service at a wilderness lodge. All rooms have satellite TV and the lodge has a sauna and licensed dining room.
Meal Information: Price includes breakfast and dinner at the lodge.
Weather Information: Winter temperatures average between -5 and -25 degrees celsius.
Comments: $500 damage deposit is required prior to renting a snowmobile.
