Explore the virgin rainforest, deserted beaches, uninhabited islands and rugged coastline. There are excellent opportunities for salmon and halibut fishing in the area.

| Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, sunscreen, sunglasses, daypack. Fishing licenses, gear and tackle if desired. |
| Suggested Clothing: Clothing suited to a variety of weather conditions, hiking boots, sneakers, hat, bathing suit, towel, jacket. |

| Restrictions: Youths 12-18 years of age are welcome. Youth rates available on meal & accommodation packages. |

| Transportation: Lodge is located in Bamfield, BC on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It can be reached from Port Alberni via a well travelled gravel road, approximately 1.5 hours. Float plane dock. Transportation arrangements available. |
| Accommodations: Seven comfortable rooms with their own entrance and private bathroom. Queen size or twin beds. Lodge facilities include dining lounge, hot tub area, garden, decks. |
| Meal Information: Packages include breakfast and dinner. Delicious meals including locally harvested seafood and complimentary dinner wines. Consideration can be given to special dietary restrictions with advance notice. |
| Guide Information: Guided boat tours are available to view the local wildlife. |
| Weather Information: The climate is moderate year round with summer temperatures averaging between 15-25 degrees Celsius. |
| Comments: No kayaking experience is necessary, but a moderate level of fitness is recommended. |
