ABOUT THIS REGION  FLY IN FISHING LODGES - RIVERS

First class fly fishing on the Blackwater River

The Blackwater River, in British Columbia, is home to some of the best dry fly fishing for wild native rainbows anywhere in the world. These aggressive Blackwater River trout take drys on the surface consistently. On this fly-out package, you will fly to the river after breakfast with or without a guide, wade and fish until afternoon, then fly back to the lodge in time for dinner. When water levels permit, you can sometimes float the river for two days. Catches of 50 trout are common, with a majority in the 1.5 pound range; with some up to 4 pounds.

First class fly fishing on the Blackwater River

This trip is based from a lodge on Moose Lake. Moose Lake is 300 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia, near Tweedsmuir Park, in the wilderness of the Upper Blackwater, Upper Dean & Entiako watersheds. This location is ideal for the excellent rainbow fishing in Moose Lake, and for fly-outs to fish the superb BC rivers and streams for rainbow trout, cutthroat, steelhead, and salmon.
