ABOUT THIS REGION  HELI-SKIING

Powder heliskiing and downhill skiing combination

This combination package combines excellent heli-skiing with downhill skiing at one of the most popular resorts in the world. This nine day adventure begins in Vancouver and takes you up into the coastal Chilcotin Mountains. You will spend several days skiing at the famous Whistler resort, swooshing down Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. The remainder of the trip will be spent at a wilderness lodge, participating in some of the best heli-skiing in the world. Set amongst the magnificent Chilcotin Mountains, you will experience a great variety of open bowls and challenging tree skiing. Many runs start on the high alpine glaciers and end well below the tree line, deep in the valley bottoms. The average footage skied per week is approximately 130,000 vertical feet and this resort has excess of 300 runs in an area of 830,000 acres.
