Whitewater rafting fun on the Fraser River

Take this one day whitewater rafting adventure to experience the mighty Fraser River and some of the largest commercially rafted whitewater in North America. These large power rafts let you ride through the scenic Fraser Canyon in comfort and safety. Enjoy the majestic views, wildlife and cultural history on this diverse and incredible waterway. Challenge the rapids at Scuzzy Rock, China Bar and more. Pause midway for a well-deserved rest after conquering the unforgettable rapids at Hell's Gate.

Enjoy a buffet lunch served on a secluded riverside beach, where you can swim, hike or just relax in the sunshine. The grand finale is the roller coaster action of Sailors Bar rapids, a chain of huge standing waves that you rerun several times.

Season: mid July to October
Suggested Items: Camera, sunscreen, retainer or string for glasses.
Suggested Clothing: Bathing suit, shorts, t-shirt, rain jacket and pants, fleece pullover, running shoes, wool socks, change of clothes.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum age 8 years. The season for this rafting trip is April to mid May and mid July through October.
Equipment Provided: Power raft equipment, full rain gear, lifejackets, helmets, wetsuits, booties, waterproof bags, safety gear.
Transportation: Trips begin and end at the rafting base about 1 km west of Yale, 23 km north of the town of Hope on Highway #1. Trips depart at 10 am and end at 4:30 pm.
Accommodations: Not included in the package but available at local hotel, motels, lodges and bed & breakfasts.
Meal Information: Lunch is included. All meals are made with healthy, fresh ingredients, expertly prepared by your guides. They are happy to accommodate any food allergies, dietary restrictions and special events. Just give them some advance notice and we will plan accordingly.
Guide Information: Your guides are skilled professionals experienced in all aspects of whitewater rafting and are trained in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. They will be pleased to answer your questions about sights and places along the river so count on them to add that extra personal touch to your adventure.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures will range from 15 to 30 degrees celsius.
Comments: Your guides can accommodate people of all ages and physical abilities keeping in mind that all trips are not suitable for everyone. Powered rafts are controlled by the guide who steers with an outboard motor at the rear of the raft. People are required to hang on with both hands through the rapids. With the ride not quite as rough at the back of the raft as the front, this trip is suitable for a wide range of people. accompanied by an adult.
