Float the Upper Columbia River as it flows through the longest continuous wetlands in North America. This wondrous land, flanked by grasslands, forest and alpine tundra, is habitat for over 250 species of birds and an abundance of other wildlife. Tours depart Radium Hotsprings in the early evening. This is the time of day when the beaver are working on the river, the birds of prey are hunting before dark, and the other animials of the wetlands are seeking the cool of the evening.
