Winter adventures at a 4-season guest ranch

Enjoy winter activities such as cross country skiing and snowmobiling at this all season wilderness adventure guest ranch in the southern Chilcotin Mountains. Western hospitality with all the activities of a true western lifestyle, and reliable Cayuse horse matched to your abilities. Choose between a leisurely trip, action packed, or something in between. Ranch skiing is ideal for small groups of skiers who wish to explore a variety of different packed or powder wilderness trails. Ski in and out of the Ranch on novice to advanced trails. When you're not skiing you can enjoy sleigh rides, horseback riding on wooly Cayuse horses, biathlon shooting and more. You can even arrange to have the ranch for your own private group. Backcountry ski tour into the high alpine on the deep winter snow packs and overnight in one of our alpine cabins. Besides outstanding back country skiing opportunities, you can ice fish or explore 50 million year old fossil bluffs. Cabins sleep 6 to 8, and are equipped with propane and wood stoves. Our pack horses transport all the gear and supplies so there are no heavy packs.

Winter adventures at a 4-season guest ranch

Snowmobile adventures include over 500km of old mining and logging roads. Options for daily rides include hill climbing, trail touring on packed trails or riding the powder. If you have experience you'll prefer to head for the high alpine and the glaciers, where you can ride the mountaintops during March and April. Backcountry snowmobile adventures into the high alpine cabins are also available. Besides snowmobiling you can ice fish or explore 50 million year old fossil bluffs. Cabins sleep 6 to 8 and are equipped with propane and wood stoves. The settled snow conditions and warmer days make this an ideal winter playground with miles of untracked alpine. At the end of the day you'll return to the warm and spacious ranch and relax in front of a fireplace after a home-cooked meal and relive the adventure.
