With heavy snowfalls usually arriving by the beginning of December, the Clearwater / Wells Gray Park area turns into a true winter wonderland! From a small, cozy country inn featuring beautifully decorated rooms with many amenities, serving hearty homemade meals and offering warm casual hospitality, guests experience a variety of winter activities that let them escape into nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The winter in Wells Gray Park offers relaxation and peacefulness like no other season. The daily dog-sledding, snow-shoeing / wildlife viewing, snow-mobiling and cross-country skiing excursions are suitable for all ages and fitness levels and are sure to be enjoyed by everyone. The sauna or hot tub invite after a day spent outdoors in the brisk winter air. It's the ideal winter getaway. This program is also offered during the Christmas week, a very special time of the year up here, culminating in a relaxed New Year's Eve celebration.
