Private guesthouse near Wells Gray Park
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this private guesthouse near Wells Gray Provincial Park. This guesthouse is designed as a retreat for people who seek a peaceful vacation in a rural setting yet want privacy, and modern amenities. The guesthouse is located adjacent to Wells Gray Provincial Park, a gigantic wilderness area near Clearwater, two hours drive north of Kamloops in central British Columbia. It is situated on 120 hectares (300 acres) of private land bordering the Clearwater River, so you have plenty of space to roam. If you enjoy hiking, you will find dozens of trails nearby, some on the property, and many more that are accessible from the Wells Gray Park road. If you prefer fishing, the deep pools of the Clearwater River produce some excellent catches, as do nearby Clearwater and Azure Lakes. Fabulous cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing and snowman-making are a few fun winter activities that await you.

In summer, hike beside the wild sparkling waters of the Clearwater River. Traverse the lush alpine meadows of Trophy Mountain or marvel at the view from the summit of Battle Mountain. Explore the Flatiron or the brink and bottom of Helmcken Falls. Thrill to a raft ride down the Clearwater River through Sabre Tooth Rapids and Granite Canyon. Delight in the untamed beauty of Wells Gray Provincial Park. In winter, step into your cross-country skis and venture into the crisp winter wonderland that surrounds the guesthouse. You can ski a varied network of trails right from your door or explore the 24 km McLeod Hill loop and the shorter loops at Candle Creek. Enjoy a winter visit to spectacular Helmcken Falls which often builds an ice cone halfway up the falls. Curl up with a cup of hot chocolate and your favorite book and watch the snow silently fall. These are just a few of the activities you can enjoy during a stay at this guesthouse. Yet, the highlight for many guests may simply be the opportunity to get away from it all, live life at a slower pace and relax in the peaceful setting.
