ABOUT THIS REGION  DRIVE-TO FISHING LODGES - LAKE

Lake fishing package on Dezadeash Lake

The Yukon Territory offers lake fishing experiences that are second to none in North America. Dezadeash Lake borders Kluane National Park, home to the tallest peaks in Canada and true untouched wilderness, perfect for lake fishing. Lake trout up to 40 pounds are caught here as well as arctic grayling and northern pike. Nearby the Tatshenshini and Takanne rivers contain chinook, coho and sockeye salmon during the summer and are readily caught with flies or bait. Other fish in nearby lakes and streams include arctic grayling, rainbow trout, kokanee salmon and dolly varden. The fly fisherman will be amazed by the productive icy, clear waters. Side trips to nearby Frederick or Mush Lakes will give you the opportunity to spend a night or two in a remote camp. Discover genuine wilderness fishing adventures and stay in the comfort of a renowned lodge on the shores of this spectacular lake.
