The Tabane Lake Outpost is located on picturesque Tabane Lake (4 by 2 miles) on the beautiful Canadian Heritage Kazan River. The outpost offers fishermen more than twenty miles of pristine river and lake fishing for all three species, from the outflow at Kasba Lake all the way down to Ennadai Lake. Ennadai Lake, the next giant lake on the river, is just thirty minutes downstream from the cabin. Wildlife and birds are commonly seen in the area and include caribou, moose, wolves, arctic fox, lynx, wolverines and musk ox as well as migratory birds such as peregrine falcons, eagles and waterfowl. This is suitable for the more experienced outdoorsman with a sense of adventure.
