ABOUT THIS REGION  CANOEING - RIVER TRIPS

Canoeing expedition on the Burnside River

The Burnside is a guaranteed wildlife and arctic canoeing adventure. The Burnside RIver is a classic tundra river flowing into the Arctic Ocean. Isolated and rugged, the Burnside River offers challenging whitewater canoeing, dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. A canoeist travelling this river should have good river paddling and whitewater skills. See caribou, muskox, grizzly and wolves as well as hawks, eagles and gyrfalcons. Hike through rolling tundra, cross the Arctic Circle and experience an isolated wilderness gem. A true arctic experience!
