Snowmobile tours in the Banff area

Experience the spectacular winter scenery of the Canadian Rocky Mountains on these snowmobile tours near Banff, Alberta. This backcountry adventure will take you into the Beaverfoot Range of the Rocky Mountains, west of Banff National Park. View wildlife, awesome scenery and learn about some of the history of the area. These tours take you off the beaten path, where few tourists ever venture. No past riding experience is needed and your guides will give you full instruction on how to drive the snowmobiles before heading out on the trails. Longer tours are available for the more experienced rider. The package includes a delicious light meal served at a backcountry lodge.

Snowmobile tours in the Banff area

Season: December to March
Requirements: Gloves.
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Warm fleece or wool underclothes, hat, boots, long underwear.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Participants under 16 years old are passengers only.
Equipment Provided: Skidoo 380s, helmets, snowmobile suits, boots.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise, Alberta. Hotel pick up included.
Accommodations: Not included but available at local hotel, lodges and inns.
Meal Information: Trail snacks and beverages.
Guide Information: Guide is included.
Weather Information: Winter temperatures will average 0 to -20 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Passengers half price. $6 trail fee not included.
