On the SKI-IN or SNOWSHOE-IN package, your hosts will pick you up at your hotel in Whitehorse and drive about one hour on the Alaska Highway to the trailhead. From there you ski or snowshoe the easy and well packed trail to the cabins. All your luggage, supplies and food will be shuttled by snowmachine. Your guide stays with you for the first day to make sure you feel comfortable with your secluded homestead, after this you will be on your own. On the last day the guide will meet you at the cabin to pick up your luggage. Enjoy another walk or ski to the trailhead for the drive back to Whitehorse. On the FLY-IN package, your hosts pick you up at your hotel and drive to the airport where you will board a skiplane. The 30 minute flight offers you a bird's-eye view of Yukon's winter wonderland before the plane lands on the frozen lake in front of the cabins. After an introduction to cabin life, the guide will leave again and you can enjoy the marvellous winter solitude on your own. On the last day you will again be picked up by floatplane.
