Your destination is the town of Revelstoke. Revelstoke divides the Monashee and Selkirk Mountain ranges and as the route continues east, you ride right through Glacier Park and summit at Rogers Pass on your way to the world famous Lake Louise. On the 10 day trip, you head east from Lake Louise on your way to Banff, Alberta to stop for the night. Banff is a hot spot for tourists visiting the Western Canadian Rockies and provides numerous activities, sight-seeing, shopping, nightlife. Your next destination is the pure Canadian Rocky Mountains and an evening soaking in the Fairmont Hotsprings. Wildlife sightings are numerous and the scenery brings to life the thousands of postcards shot in this region. From Fairmont, you head south towards the fertile Creston agricultural region. After sampling the fresh local cuisine, you roll on to Kootenay Lake and several hours of riding along its meandering banks. You’ll finish the day with a 30-minute ferry ride across the lake to the town of Nelson where you’ll spend the next two nights at the water’s edge. The picturesque town of Nelson sits in the heart of the Kootenays and is famous for its friendly hospitality and winding roads — ideal for motorcycling! Nelson also offers a great place to enjoy a hike, a bicycle ride or a dip in the lake. Your return west brings you to one of Canada’s most arid regions, with a true desert located only 25 km to the south. In Kelowna, hot sunny weather brings lots of fun. Your last day’s ride takes you back along the mighty Fraser River before a series of mountain passes, most noteably the Duffey Lake road, delivers you back to Whistler for your final dinner.
