Saltwater fishing for salmon, halibut and snapper
|
|
Fish for salmon and halibut in some of the most productive saltwater locations in British Columbia. These fishing charters go where BC salmon fishing action is the hottest; the incredibly rich waters around historic Nootka Island, Nootka Sound, Tahsis and Esperanza Inlets. You will enjoy light tackle salmon fishing for trophy Chinook salmon (Kings) and Coho salmon (Silvers) and Halibut fishing; playing tug of war with giant Halibut, Lingcod, Red Snapper and various species of rockfish. All of these BC West Coast fishing charters are well suited for everyone whether a novice or an experienced angler. For anglers that are a little uneasy about fishing big open water, your guides have plenty of productive, calm, inshore water where you fish, right along the kelp beds. For the fly-fishermen - you may want to ask about the saltwater fly fishing charters from boat or shore for Pacific Salmon. June and September are prime times for trophy Chinook and all five salmon species are available July and August. September and October is best for trophy Coho and halibut, red snapper, ling cod and rockfish are productive throughout the season.
