Bring out your spirit of adventure and experience climbing on some of the best rock in Southern Ontario. Just a half hour from Toronto, you can challenge yourself with climbs ranging from 50ft to 80ft. Outdoor climbing on real rock is true rock climbing as it was meant to be. Beginners and gym climbers can challenge themselves to climb up to 80ft with vultures soaring the sky and breathtaking views.
With the coaching of our top-notch instructors, you will learn how to tie into the rope, belay, and improve your climbing technique. Join us for a rewarding day outdoors, and see why this sport is so addictive. The low participant to instructor ratio ensures that you will get all the personal attention you need to focus on the goals you want to accomplish.
Season: April to October
Suggested Items: Pack water, sunglasses, extra jacket, insect repellent and sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Quick dry clothing (polyester or nylon) is recommended. Bring a rain jacket, as the program will run regardless of weather conditions. Hiking shoes or running shoes are appropriate for the hike into the cliff.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size of 3 required. Smaller groups can be combined to meet the minimum.
Equipment Provided: Your guides provide all the technical equipment including helmets, harnesses, and climbing shoes.
Transportation: Location is Rattlesnake Point in Milton, Ontario (major cross streets are Appleby Line and Steeles Ave). Make sure to park in the upper parking lot. If you are unsure, ask the gate attendant when you pay your park entrance fee. Coach services may also be arranged upon request.
Accommodations: Not included in the price. May be arranged upon request at nearby Inn, bed and breakfast as well as camping.
Meal Information: A catered lunch may be arranged for an additional cost.
Guide Information: Your guides are dedicated to keeping you safe and giving you the personalized attention you need to achieve your goals.
Weather Information: The program will only be cancelled if weather conditions are dangerous. Unless you receive a phone call cancelling the program, assume the course will run rain or shine.
