Your hosts provide a structured, fully personalized seven day health, hiking & fitness program, guiding you through integrated activities and wellness education, giving you the tools to maintain a new, healthy lifestyle. The focus is on hiking but the program also includes core strengthening classes, weight training classes, yoga/stretch classes, theraputic massage, educational classes and self-assessment. The 7 day program includes all healthy meals, 6 morning yoga classes, 6 days of guided hiking, 2 relaxation massages, 1 healthy cooking class, 3 strength training classes and a personal fitness assessment. Physical fitness is just one part of overall wellness and health, and no matter what condition you are in when you begin your week at the resort, with a positive attitude and determination you will see and feel significant improvement in your energy and vitality. Weight loss is often the initial goal or aim of individuals enrolling in such a program and this combination of activities can certainly get you on that specific path; but more importantly, it can teach you how to maintain, extend and enhance those personal goals when you return home.

| Suggested Clothing: Sun hat and sunglasses, warm hat and mitts (pending on the time of year),
clothing for yoga and the fitness centre (please not too baggy as your clothing can restrict your mobility or get caught in the equipment), long sleeved shirt or sweater (preferably synthetic fleece or wool), one long sleeve and two short sleeve hiking shirts, long hiking pants or convertible pants, hiking shorts, wool or synthetic socks/underwear, toiletries, bathing suit, sturdy hiking boots, preferably waterproof; (Please ensure your boots are broken in to prevent blisters.) gym shoes or running shoes, sandals, Indoor soft soled shoes and slippers, rain gear (we recommend Gore-tex) jacket and pants, gaiters.

| Transportation: This resort is located on the central east coast of Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley, near Courtenay, BC. It is three hours from Vancouver by ferry/car and two and a half hours drive from Victoria. Transportation to and from the Comox Valley airport is included.

This boutique style lodge is situated so all 12 guest rooms share the same magnificent view. The 12 guest accommodations are designed with quality and comfort in mind. Each room offers a luxury queen bed with private bathroom and a spectacular view ensuring a quiet place for reflection after an activity-filled day. Offering over 250,000 hectares of mountain wilderness, there are virtually unlimited trails for all levels of hikers. The Comox Valley is home to a myriad of hikes featuring the ocean, rivers, lakes and various islands. |
