At the first ranch your hosts will teach the basics of riding & roping. Stay in a fully self-contained historic log cabin below the Rocky Mountains and enjoy self-catered meals from a daily stocked fridge.
For the second half of your holiday, you will visit a second ranch. Spend the rest of your adventure in the scenic Porcupine Hills of southern Alberta riding and working cattle. Enjoy ranch cooked meals and relax in a private new pine log cabin. This package also includes two day trips to some spectacular sight-seeing locations in the area.

| Restrictions: Riding packages are limited to adults and children over the age of 16 years, special accommodation packages can be arranged for families with small children who want their young children to experience 30 minutes sessions in the saddle, assisted by an experienced adult from the ranch at all times.

| Transportation: Trips begin near Claresholm and end near Lundbreck, Alberta, or visa versa. These ranches are about 2-3-2.5 hours south of Calgary. Airport pick up is available for an additional cost. |
| Accommodations: Accommodations are in a private rustic cabin that sleeps up to 6 people. The cabin at the first ranch has 2 queen beds upstairs, a double pull-out sofa bed downstairs, bathroom, running water, electricity and kitchen. The cabin at the second ranch is self-catering and has all the amenities. Everything from stove, fridge, microwave, water coolers, pots & pans, dishes, TV, VCR and all have a shower, toilet and sink. |
