Guided fishing trips in the Edmonton region

Guided fishing tours at your choice of either fishing at Lac La Nonne, Pigeon, or Hanmore Lake for pike, walleye, whitefish, burbot or perch. These lakes are located only 1-2 hours from Edmonton and offer good fishing.

Guided fishing trips in the Edmonton region

Lac La Nonne is located approximately one hour northwest of Edmonton. Within this lake, there are numerous opportunities to catch Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Burbot, or Lake Whitefish. Pigeon Lake is a 1 hour drive south of Edmonton. This lake houses a good population of Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Lake Whitefish, and Burbot. Hanmore Lake is located 1.5 hrs northeast of Edmonton, in the county of Smoky Lake. This lake has tremendous Northern Pike action. There is always a chance to hook onto a 10 to 20 pound Pike. Other species of fish in this lake are Perch and Lake Whitefish.

Guided fishing trips in the Edmonton region

Season: 3rd week of May to Freeze up
Requirements: Alberta fishing license.
Suggested Clothing: Warm clothing, jacket, long pants, wind breaker, water proof insulated boots, hat, gloves, personal rain gear.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Maximum Number of People: 7
Equipment Provided: 16' fishing boat, fishing gear and tackle, rain gear.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Legal, Alberta, located about 20 minutes north of Edmonton. Transportation to and from Edmonton can also be arranged.
Accommodations: Not included in the package but available at local motels, hotels and cabins.
Meal Information: Lunch, snacks and beverages included.
Guide Information: Your guide has been fishing Alberta waters ever since childhood. With many years of fishing experience, he brings his knowledge and excitement to each and every fishing trip. Certified with first aid and wilderness first aid, and coast guard approved.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures can range from 10 to 25 degrees celsius.
Comments: 7-10 hours of fishing.
