ABOUT THIS REGION  FISHING DAY TRIPS - RIVERS

Guided fishing trips on the Athabasca River

Spend the day fishing the Athabasca River during your next trip to Edmonton. The Athabasca River is one of Alberta's unique hidden treasures. This river starts as a glacier in the Rocky Mountains near Jasper, Alberta and flows approximately 1231 kms through Northern Alberta draining into Lake Athabasca. This river is surrounded by pristine fauna, offering ample wildlife viewing along the shore or in the sky above and houses a wonderful population of game fish, such as Walleye, Northern Pike, Burbot, Goldeye, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Bull Trout, and Rainbow Trout.

Guided fishing trips on the Athabasca River

Your guide is proud to offer you this wonderful opportunity to explore and experience this river as he guides you in his 16 foot jet boat. Come with him as he takes you to some of the best spots along the Athabasca River and hook on to some monster Northern Pike in the back sloughs or giant Walleye along the creek mouths of this majestic river.
