ABOUT THIS REGION  GUEST RANCH VACATIONS

Cattle drives and more at a working cattle ranch

Come and experience the life of a cowboy on one of these western cultural ranch packages in Alberta's Porcupine Hills. All inclusive stays at the western ranch include meals, daily horseback riding and a variety of different ranch activities including cattle round-up and penning, branding and fence mending. Do as little or as much as you like as you enjoy the cowboy way of life. At the end of the day enjoy a home-cooked meal and reflect on the day's activities in front of a campfire.

After hours, guests often gather around the campfire or indoors in the family room, around the piano or TV and VCR. Stories are traded, experiences embellished and it is not uncommon for a song or two to be heard, as your hosts entertain guests and encourage them to join in on a session or two. A library and board games are available also. Outside a cedar hot tub completes the picture of a great way to cool your heels before climbing into the rack for one of the best and well earned sleeps you have ever had.
