ABOUT THIS REGION  WILDLIFE WATCHING

Squamish River bald eagle viewing safari

The Squamish River Valley is truly remarkable in it natural beauty. A testament to what West Coast living is all about. Travel with us into the Squamish River Valley, home to one of the most significant areas of wintering Bald Eagles in North America. The Squamish, Cheakamus, and Mamquam rivers provide great roosting, perching and feeding ground for these magnificent birds of prey, attracting over 1,000 birds from the Pacific Northwest each winter. Whether you are a bird lover, wildlife enthusiast, or photographer this is once in a lifetime experience. Not only does the Squamish Estuary attract Eagles but throughout the year over 200 other species also call this their home.
