Your tour begins in the city of St. John's, North America's oldest city. This historical, vibrant city has many attractions and fine restaurants, from fine dining to traditional Newfoundland cuisine. The tour includes a city tour including Quidi Vidi Village, Government House and Signal Hill. From St. John's the tour takes the Irish Loop to the scenic Avalon Peninsula, home to over 5500 woodland caribou. You will also visit the most easterly point in North America, Cape Spear. Witless Bay Ecological Reserve is a great place to view a multitude of seabirds such as puffins, kittiwakes and murres, and you will enjoy a boat tour of the area. Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve is another seabird stop of interest during the tour. The tour continues along scenic Conception Bay and to the charming community of Brigus, once the residence of northern explorer Bob Bartlett. Finally you will head north to Trinity and the beautiful Bonavista Bay, with stops including historical points of interest, before your return drive to St. John's.
