Your adventure begins when you arrive at Deer Lake airport. During the tour you will explore Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While in Gros Morne, you will take a boat tour of Western Brook Pond, with its glacier carved fjord of over 2000 feet high, then walk on the Earth's mantel - The Tablelands. At L'Anse aux Meadows, you will visit the only authenticated site of a Viking settlement in North America. After leaving St. Anthony the tour heads for Labrador and the Basque whaling station at Red Bay. During the tour you will have a chance to view and photograph icebergs (season May-July), whales and moose.
