Once we reach Taplatos Beach it will be close to lunch time. The beach itself is completely remote. It is as if you have gone back in time. You half-expect a native canoe to come around the point and land on the beach. At one end of the beach, there are fascinating tide-pools with abundant life in them. There will be time to do a little birding along the way and when we get to the beach. Or, if you prefer, you can have a little beach R&R. We'll supply a gourmet lunch and refreshments as well as rubber boots for those who want them. Be prepared for a full 10.5 hour day of fun!
