This area is a world renowned area offering the vacationer access to wilderness areas, nature and ecological pursuits while still offering a bit of civilization. The closest town is Kenora. It is a small town with restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and festivals. The outdoor enthusiast will enjoy fishing, hiking, interpretive trails, golf or just reading a book in the sun on the dock.

| Transportation: The cottage is located about a 2 hour drive from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Go east Highway 1 into Ontario and take the Kenora perimeter highway. Turn left (north) on Highway 671, the road to Grassie Narrow, after 20 minutes on perimeter. Turn left on Loon Bay Road (about 1/4 mile from perimeter highway) and follow road keeping to the right for about 2 km. |
| Accommodations: This is a 1400 sq. ft. cottage with 3 bedrooms on the main floor and a large loft bedroom, septic system and water pressure system from the lake, hot water tank and full bath. Baseboard heat and fireplace. It has 2 fridges, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, water cooler and propane BBQ. It also has a TV, VCR, DVD, stereo system, cassette tape player, CD player, large deck attached in front overlooking the lake, lower deck attached to the dock. |
