ABOUT THIS REGION  FLY IN FISHING LODGES - LAKES

Luxury fishing lodge in northern Saskatchewan

Enjoy trophy fishing in luxury at this first class lodge in northern Saskatchewan. Be the first to fish one of the planet's last untouched areas... the far north of Saskatchewan between the 59th and 60th parallel, where you will find the top Saskatchewan sportsfish: lake trout, arctic grayling, and northern pike. Not just a great combination of fish, but large numbers as well because these are truly virgin waters. Fish for all these species within minutes of the lodge. No long boat rides needed to get to the good spots; trophy fish can be caught from the rocky shore right in front of the lodge. Having this great fishing so close by makes for exciting days, because you can easily fish for all three species between sunrise and sunset. Because you will be on virgin waters, the spots near the lodge are not fished out... the fish are abundant everywhere.

The lake is home to all four fish species known as the Grand Slam: walleye, northern pike, arctic grayling and lake trout. Milton Lake and the other lakes to which the lodge has the fishing rights are set within the Precambrian Shield, also known as the Canadian Shield. This is a large area of rock, clear cold lakes and rivers, and pine forest that surrounds Hudson Bay and stretches across five Canadian provinces, two territories, and into the northern United States. This area of northern Saskatchewan is one of Canada's (if not the world's) most remote places, and Milton Lake is one of the last truly virgin waters.
