ABOUT THIS REGION  DRIVE TO FISHING CAMPS - LAKES

Outpost fishing camp on South Wabas Lake

Angle for walleye, pike and whitefish from this private outpost camp on South Wabus Lake in northern Ontario. South Wabus Lake is a unique shaped lake with lots of bays and structure for big walleyes and big northern pike. The depth of this lake ensures a large population of whitefish, which are the main feeder-fish. The depths also hold lake trout of all different sizes. It's just a short walk along the trail where a boat is waiting to take you to the larger Wabus Lake, which is a long lake with many bays, islands and shoals to explore. Wabus Lake also had great fishing for walleye, northern pike and lake trout. For those brook trout fanatics out there, there is a longer trail leading to the Aubinodong River. This camp is perfect for any group of 4 anglers looking for their own private outpost camp.
