Northern cruise to explore wild Labrador

Join your hosts as they explore mysterious wild Labrador and the natural vistas; history and wilderness of Canada’s eastern seaboard on this cruise from Baffin Island to Newfoundland. Canadian Geographic Publisher, André Prefontain invites you on a voyage of a lifetime to Canada’s Ghost Coast – Labrador. A southerly route aboard this expeditionary ship will take you from the capital of Nunavut, Iqaluit, to the wilds of Labrador. Here the Torngat Mountains meet the Atlantic Ocean with great altitude – this is one of the most breathtaking landscapes in all of Canada!

Northern cruise to explore wild Labrador

Guided expeditionary stops and Zodiac cruises along Labrador’s coast will allow time for wildlife viewing, spectacular tundra hikes and photography, as well as chances to uncover the mysteries of Labrador’s intriguing history. Investigating the Norse history of the region, we will visit L’Anse aux Meadows before settling into Newfoundland to visit some of Canada’s friendliest folks.
