Exciting canoeing trip on the Athabasca River

Expect fun, thrills and action on this downriver canoe trip on the Athabasca River. You and your partner will learn to 'read' the water and practice minimum impact camping on this true wilderness canoeing adventure. This canoeing trip begins in the town of Hinton, located in the foothills of the Rockies, and takes you 190 km down the mighty Athabasca River, ending in the town of Whitecourt. Along the way you will have a chance to fish in unspoiled trout streams, view wildlife, swim and relax around a campfire under the northern lights.
