The Esplanade Range is a unique alpine area located on the eastern edge of the Selkirk Mountains. Studded with many alpine lakes and tarns and nuturing an abundance of alpine wildflowers, this area is a hikers paradise. The accommodations are rustic but comfortable and suited to the environment in which the lodges are located. This trip is the perfect summer getaway and a memorable alpine experience.

| Transportation: Trips originate and end in Golden, BC. Golden can be reached via highway # 1 west of Banff, Alberta (about 135 km). |
| Accommodations: Cozy, two-story lodges with wood stove, common room and six separate bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is no indoor plumbing or electricity. There is a chemical toilet and outhouse, propane lighting and a wood heated sauna. |
| Meal Information: Hearty and delicious meals served family style around a large dining table. |
| Guide Information: Your guides are experienced and very knowledgeable of the area. |
| Weather Information: Summer temperatures range between 15 and 30 degrees celsius. |
| Comments: You have the option of spending the entire trip at one lodge, or you can choose to traverse between lodges. Helicopter flights to the lodge are 10 to 20 minutes. |
