ABOUT THIS REGION  WHALE WATCHING

Whale watching tour to view orcas

Come and view killer whales, seals, porpoises, sea lions, bald eagles and a host of other marine inhabitants on this 3 hour tour around the waters of Victoria, British Columbia. This is an exhilarating round trip of 30-50 miles in search of these fascinating creatures. Your route will vary depending on the weather and season, but typically this tour will take you along Victoria's scenic waterfront to Oak Bay and the Chain Islets where you will pause to watch harbour seals and sea birds. From here you are likely to head east to San Juan Island or north along the Saanich Peninsula. Your crew will do everything possible to find the whales and when a pod is found the boat will slow or stop to allow passengers to observe, take photographs and ask questions. The boats are equipped with hydrophones so if the whales are in a talkative mood you will be able to listen in on the conversation.
