The Journey:
Several treasure maps have been discovered which illustrate pockets of treasure buried throughout the area. A treasure-hunting company has struck a deal with your organization to jointly excavate the treasure sites. For each location there will be a survey team and a retrieval team.
Using various methods of transportation (ie. hiking, biking, rafting ATV) the survey teams must decipher the clues to find the treasure. Be warned there are booby traps that must be solved before the treasure can be retrieved. The survey teams cannot retrieve the treasure they can simply document the location of the booby trap and the equipment necessary to solve it.
Once the survey team has returned they will relay the information to the rest of the groups. The retrieval groups will then go out with the knowledge they have been given and locate their booby trap, solve it and claim the treasure. This all day event is an exciting challenge for any team!
