Wildlife viewing and safari in the Rocky Mountains

View a variety of willdife on this Northern Rockies Wilderness Safari adventure. This 5 star accommodations will be your base for daily wildlife viewing expeditions. Accompanied by an expert guide you will view Grizzly & Black bears at Spiki Meadow, hike along Rainbow Rocks high above the Peace Reach Arm of Williston Lake to view Stone Sheep Rams, Rocky Mountain Elk, Moose and Bald Eagles in their natural habitat. A Photographers dream. The lodge is the Gateway to the Serengeti of the North, there are no human settlements for hundreds of miles all the way to the Yukon border.

Suggested Clothing: Clothing for a variety of mountain weather. Jacket, fleece or wool pullovers, long pants, t-shirts, shorts, hiking boots, sneakers, hat, gloves, swimsuit, wool socks.

Equipment Provided: Daily two hour guided excursions, use of the lodge facilities including hot tub and fitness room.
Transportation: Trips originate and end at the lodge near the town of Hudson's Hope. Transportation from Fort St. John is available for an additional cost.
Accommodations: Welcome to your wilderness home in the Northern Rockies! This picture-perfect lodge fits harmoniously into 300 private acres and provides magnificent views of Williston Lake and the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The newly built eight-suite facility, designed in the historic "square log - dovetail corner" style, enables your hosts to provide guests with single or double occupancy accommodations in an atmosphere of intimacy, yet with a feeling of openess, and relaxation. Each room is tastefully decorated with careful attention to detail, and has it's own private bath and satellite internet connection. There is also a private chalet with three suites available, right next to the main lodge for a more intimate setting for smaller groups. The common areas include the Great Room, where after a wonderful day in the mountains and a superb meal, you can join friends by the fireplace. Enjoy an evening of great music, the finest of beverages, and a stroll on the wrap-around deck for a soak in the outdoor hot tub. The lodge also offers a fully stocked bar, sauna, outside hot tub, stretch and fitness room, fully equipped meeting room and laundry facilties with a specially designed boot room with boot and glove dryers. The gift shop carries a selection of fine outdoor and casual clothing, and local art and souveneirs. It also carries accessories for your many adventures, including: gloves, eyewear, walking poles, custom-made knives and locally tied flies.
Meal Information: Meals from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the last day of package are included. During your expeditions, lunch will be picnic style in the mountains or on the shores of the lakes or streams.

Weather Information: Summer temperatures will average from 10 to 25 degrees celsius.
Comments: Extra guided tours, boat tours, helicopter tours, kayak and mountain bike rentals also available for an additional cost.
