Inlets along the Peace Reach arm of Williston Lake have offered up to Rainbows as big as 24 inches and 18 pound Bull Trout... a truly unforgettable experience. Lunch each day will be a picnic affair, nestled down on banks of rivers, surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Rockies, or on a mountain tops beside a crystal clear lake... you may even have guests while you eat as this is knows as the 'Serengeti of the North' and herds of caribou are not an uncommon sight here. Grizzly and black bears forage through the berries down in the valleys, making for great lunchtime entertainment.

| Equipment Provided: Transportation to and from Ft. St. John, fly-fishing with our experienced guides; float tubes, wading gear, fishing rods and one hour fly casting lesson on the first day (if necessary) , use of the lodge facilities. |
| Transportation: Trips originate and end in Fort St. John, BC. Guests arrive in Fort St. John, British Columbia either from Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton via Air Canada on the morning flight. Guests who arrive the day before pick up will stay at the Quality Inn Hotel in Fort St. John and will be picked up the next with new arrivals. Your shuttle bus and hosts will pick you up and you'll then spend a delightful 1.5 hours driving along the Peace River to the tiny historic community of Hudson's Hope, a former Hudson's Bay trading post. After your 1.5 hour trip along the mighty Peace River, your staff will assist you in registration and provides you with your information packages regarding the lodge, safety regulations, area maps and everything you'll require to make memories.

| Accommodations: Welcome to your wilderness home in the Northern Rockies! This picture-perfect lodge fits harmoniously into 300 private acres and provides magnificent views of Williston Lake and the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The newly built eight-suite facility, designed in the historic "square log - dovetail corner" style, enables your hosts to provide guests with single or double occupancy accommodations in an atmosphere of intimacy, yet with a feeling of openess, and relaxation. Each room is tastefully decorated with careful attention to detail, and has it's own private bath and satellite internet connection. There is also a private chalet with three suites available, right next to the main lodge for a more intimate setting for smaller groups. The common areas include the Great Room, where after a wonderful day in the mountains and a superb meal, you can join friends by the fireplace. Enjoy an evening of great music, the finest of beverages, and a stroll on the wrap-around deck for a soak in the outdoor hot tub. The lodge also offers a fully stocked bar, sauna, outside hot tub, stretch and fitness room, fully equipped meeting room and laundry facilties with a specially designed boot room with boot and glove dryers. The gift shop carries a selection of fine outdoor and casual clothing, and local art and souveneirs. It also carries accessories for your many adventures, including: gloves, eyewear, walking poles, custom-made knives and locally tied flies.

| Guide Information: Your skilled local fishing guide will give you a one-hour spin casting lesson on the first day (if necessary). Then, throughout your fly-fishing adventure days, will guide you to the perfect combo of suitable habitat, carefully selected hand-made ties and technique so that you land the catch of your lifetime. All our fishing activites will be catch and release. Your local expert guides know where to catch the 2-foot long rainbow trout!! |
