Inn-based riding tour in the Appalachian Mountains

Enjoy a few days in the Appalachians of Quebec on this horseback riding adventure. A charming country inn awaits you with nice accommodations, excellent cuisine, and personal service. A string of well managed horses are at your disposal for daily rides into the beautiful countryside with its maple forests in the Canadian Appalachians. Ride near the Buffalo pastures were over 200 animals roam. Then visit a Maple Syrup farm on your way up high into the Appalachian Mountains with its breathtaking vistas. In the area you have plenty of activities to choose from - nature walks, canoeing, golf and biking. Swedish massages are available upon request.

This trip is suitable for good novice riders. The pace is moderate with long trots and canters. Each day the guide will take you out on a different day ride, each ride lasting approximately 4 hours. At the end of the ride you will return to your inn accommodations and there will be free time to spend hiking, golfing and just relaxing among the mountain scenery.

Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Jacket, long pants, riding/hiking boots, rain gear, sneakers, hat, gloves, warm underclothes, swimsuit.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum age of 14.
Maximum Number of People: 12
Equipment Provided: Riding equipment, Western or English.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in the Eastern Townships about 2 hours from Quebec City. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Accommodations are at a charming country inn.
Meal Information: Meals are included. Your pallets will be pleased with the meals that consist of homegrown vegetables, homemade "Duck Foie Gras", Buffalo steaks, Venison and poultry.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced and are happy to share their knowledge of the area.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures will average from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Riding lessons available.
