Explore Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland in this hiking and sightseeing adventure. Your guide will take you through the park on foot to explore beautiful 700m glacier carved fjords, endless waterfalls and prestine wilderness habitats. Hike coastal trails viewing and exploring sea-caves and sea-stacks and hike 800m peaks to view glacier carved valleys. These hiking trails are moderate to easy, and are very scenic. The people you meet will warm your heart for years to come and the food is unforgettable. Bald eagles soar the skyline, and caribou and moose roam the shorelines.

The 8 day tour includes a trip to the 1000 year old Viking settlement at L'anse Aux Meadows. View mountainous icebergs and huge whales in iceberg alley in St. Anthony. Explore glacier carved fjords, beautiful bays and inlets and vast amounts of wildlife.

Suggested Items: Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Rain gear, warm underclothes (fleece or wool), hiking boots, hat, gloves, shoes that can get wet, long pants, t-shirts, shorts.

Equipment Provided: Backcountry passes and park fees, boat tour costs.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. Ground transportation from the airport included.
Accommodations: Five or seven nights in local inns and bed & breakfasts.
Meal Information: Meals are included. Choice of seafood includes lobster, crab, cod fish, scallops and shrimp.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced and knowledgeable. Interpretive guide ratio of 1:4.
Weather Information: During the summer, the weather is still unpredictable. It can rain, snow and be sunny all in the same day. The temperatures can range from 7 to 28 degrees celsius in the park, and can approach freezing at night.
