Newfoundland is a culture so rich in folklore and tradition that you will end up calling it home before you leave and give you a desire to return. Gros Morne National Park offers some of the most spectacular scenery and remote landscapes in North America. You will travel over the land of the caribou where herds of Woodland Caribou roam the middle barrens. Much of the area you will be hiking through has no marked trails so map and compass skills will be taught throughout the day as well as basic wilderness survival tips.
