ABOUT THIS REGION  BACKPACKING

Backpacking the Rockwall Highline

Experience one of the best backpacking expeditions in the Rockies on this Rockwall Highline trip. Why is it considered one of the best? Perhaps it's variety of landscapes and the way that nature's exquisite bounty is revealed before you: primeval forests, flower-strewn meadows, turquoise lakes reflecting rugged peaks and glaciers and the added exciting glimpses of wildlife. Walking is never boring in this wonderland. Then with the arrival of September the alpine larches blaze yellow and orange further increasing the beauty of this tremendous landscape.
