Miles of track-set classic cross country ski trails surround the lodge. The rolling terrain is perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers but advanced skiers will not be disappointed with the incredible variety of terrain. Ski out to the base of a stunning glacier or along the shores of a frozen alpine lake. In the spring, skate skiing is also an option, although it is weather dependent. Come and see why Vancouver's Olympic organizers have chosen the Callaghan Valley as the future site of the Whistler Nordic Centre, where all of the nordic and ski jumping events for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games will take place.
