ABOUT THIS REGION  FLY IN FISHING LODGES - LAKES

Great lake fishing on Great Slave Lake

Discover world class lake fishing on North America's fifth largest lake, Great Slave Lake. Fish for trophy lake trout and pike in one of the world's greatest angling waters. The lodge is located near Lutsel K'e, a remote Dene village where the Stark River meets the east arm of Great Slave Lake. The location allows for excellent lake and river fishing opportunities where you can fly fish for Arctic Grayling just a few hundred yards from the lodge. The surface fighting 'lakers' of the Northwest Territories must be experienced to be believed. 20-30 pounders are common but why not try to beat the 59 1/2 pound record? There are plenty of targets for the pike fisherman as well. While pike generally run between 5 and 15 pounds, 25-30 pound class have been caught.
