The Beaver Lake tour begins with a pick-up in Kelowna or Vernon. From here you will be transport to Beaver Lake Resort and fitted to new style snowshoes for your trip into the wilderness. You will explore the blanket of snow along a multitude of routes designed for each groups fitness level. You will see various tracks scattered along the trails, evidence of the winter activity of the local wildlife. You will have a fun time challenging yourself to figure out what animals left what tracks. Your guide will supply you with a field guide to help with the challenge. How did you do? Your guide will let you know. After 2 hours of exploring you return with your rosy cheeks to the resort for a hot beverage to warm yourself and relive the experience.
